These terms cover the SnapForMac app for the Mac and this website. By installing or using SnapForMac you agree to them.
The licence
- SnapForMac is licensed, not sold. The free version may be used by anyone, for any purpose, with no time limit.
- SnapForMac Pro is a personal licence with no end date. It is sold in three sizes: one licence key covers 2, 5 or 10 Macs at a time, depending on the size you buy. You can deactivate a Mac in the app and activate another.
- Do not share or resell licence keys, and do not try to get around the licence check.
- Without Pro the app still snaps windows by keyboard and by drag. The features marked Pro on the features page need a licence key.
Price and payment
- The price is on the pricing page. It is in US dollars; taxes may be added at checkout.
- SnapForMac Pro is a single payment, whichever size you choose. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Payments are handled by Polar, our payment provider and merchant of record, under its own terms.
Refunds
If SnapForMac Pro is not right for you, write to [email protected] and ask. We would rather refund you than keep an unhappy customer.
The Accessibility permission
- SnapForMac moves and resizes the windows of other apps, at your request, through the macOS Accessibility permission. You choose whether to give that permission and can take it back at any time.
- Some apps refuse a size or a position. SnapForMac cannot promise that every window of every app can be snapped.
No warranty
SnapForMac is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it is free of faults or that it will always work with every app or every version of macOS. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost work or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do.
